THE CHALLANGE:

Alexxx came to me with a song he'd written and an idea for the video, but wasn't sure where to start. He wanted help shaping that idea into something clear and fully realized on-screen with a tight scope and timeline for production.

I pulled references across film and music videos and organized them into a presentation that broke down exactly what we'd borrow from each: camera movement from one, mood from another, color grading from a third. Hero films alongside reggaeton and hip-hop classics became the north star, giving the video a language that felt cinematic while staying true to the genre.

THE SOLUTION:

The video needed to feel like Alexxx. Grounded in his story, his taste, and the city he's from. I helped pin down his ideas into a clear path forward, building out a presentation and storyboard that turned the song's narrative into individual scenes tied to specific New York locations to help illustrate him as an artist.

The video hasn't been shot yet, but the creative direction is fully locked in, with a motion-graphics rollout planned ahead of release.
